Osteoblast-osteoclast coupling

Bone formation (osteoblast, collagen-I + hydroxyapatite) balanced with resorption (osteoclast, H⁺ + cathepsin K). RANKL/OPG regulates coupling. Dysregulated in osteoporosis.
